I'm supposed to be proof-reading my a+e that is supposedly due sometime today (if I want feedback), but here I am writing garbage instead. School's actually been enjoyable lately (*gasp*! I know, what a loser), maybe because Mondays I end the day having class with Nita, Tuesdays' 49x classes are always good and I end them in 373 with Dexter + Richard, and the material's surprisingly interesting. Wednesdays are a nice break from Monday and Tuesday's brutal 9-9 schedules with just one class. Thursdays I have orchestra, and no matter how disgustingly we play, we laugh at how professional we feel by laughing at others' amateurish performances (without realizing the irony of it). And Fridays because it's Friday. Even though I cry and bleed on Saturdays working with violin students, sometimes it's worth it because they come in unprepared, and leave with technique + musicianship perfected (oh how shallow I be), and sometimes I get paid! And because he's in Toronto now, I get to see Vince occasionally for our weekly pigouts at some Chinese locale ^^; Things are starting to accelerate, though, with the workload becoming heavier and the schedules becoming more hectic.
On other news, I went apple picking yesterday! Yes, apple-picking. It was so fun! I had expected it to rain, which it didn't, and the Honey Crisp apples were amazing. I still have a candied apple sitting on my desk, waiting to be devoured. We met with Nita's brother's girlfriend, the infamous, squeaky, unthankful, quiet girl, and oh my. Infamous--did not introduce herself to us--in fact did not greet us when we met up with them; squeaky--her greeting was this for-dolphins-only high pitched screech when a fly/bee buzzed around her; unthankful--no word of thanks to Nita's parents for paying for the apples we picked (I tried to set an example. :( I should've spoken louder and stared at her with neon lighted arrows pointing at me blinking and blazing the message: How to Say "Thank You"; and quiet--no goodbyes, either. Honestly, I know this is none of my business, but she irritates me, probably because it very much exemplifies my brother's situation.
Enough ranting... this was initially supposed to be a happier post. My mom's birthday is in 8 minutes, and I have no idea what to do. I have a 9-9 day tomorrow, too. =\ I'm tired, and I just re-realized that I have proof-reading to do. >.<
